Dr. Antonio De Filippo is a triple board-certified physician in Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, currently serving patients across Dade and Broward County, Florida. With a career spanning both clinical practice and healthcare leadership, Dr. De Filippo brings a unique depth of expertise in the treatment, management, and advancement of mental health care.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Miami, where he completed a double major, and earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He returned to Miami to complete his residency at the prestigious Jackson Memorial Hospital through the University of Miami. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Professor of Psychopharmacology at Nova Southeastern University’s School of Medicine.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. De Filippo has served in leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and Board Advisor for various healthcare institutions. He is the CEO of South Florida Psychiatric Services, where he leads a multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care.
Dr. De Filippo is also a certified provider of NeuroStar transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a national speaker, consultant, and trainer for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. His ability to bridge clinical expertise with industry insight makes him a sought-after voice in medical advisory circles.
